2009 Fianl stats

Well here they are. Some OK, most not too pretty. The final 2009 Thunder stats.

At least we finished with a three game winning streak.

Updated stats thru 7-20 game

Last season we scored 214 runs total. What a big drop this year.

Mistake

Okay, the stat girl here made a MAJOR mistake last night and I feel really bad...especially since Dan tried to argue with the ump. I had an additional 2 runs for Thunder in my stat book. I was wrong. I think what happened is when I got interrupted to deal with my kids, I missed what happened and tried to quickly fix the stat book, accidentally putting 2 of West Layton's runs down for us. Dan had a hard time last night when we got home figuring out the stats for the last two innings because I had to keep stopping to handle the kids. So anyway, I apologize and I guess I should probably apologize to that ump, huh? :-)

So if anything is wrong on your stats, let Dan know...

Finally, Stats

Guy update

I got a chance to talk to Guy this afternoon when he was in the hospital. Sounds like everything went good. He was in some pain, though. At the time i talked to him they were planning on sending them home. Keep up the prayers for a great recovery!

New Season!

Hey Guys!

Just blowin' the Dust off the blog. Hope you're all geared up for D2! It should be a fun year. (if we can recover from our off-season injuries!)

I know you guys got the email / texts from Dan, but here's the list of the teams in our division this year:

W. Layton Warriors (remember we tied them for first a few years ago)
VIF (Formerly Brookfield... we were in a 3-way tie w/ them & W Layton if i remember right...)
OC Green
Mercy Hill
OC Thunder
OC Crossroads

not knowing anything current about W Layton & VIF, Mercy HIll could still be the team to beat. Crossroads went with a try-out format this year, so they should be fielding a more solid team.

Not sure if the "new guys" know about the blog yet, so be sure to let them know.
